A Travel / Educational Experience & course for credit conducted by Dr. Anthony R. Santoro, Distinguished Professor of History and President Emeritus and Dr. Mario D. Mazzarella, Professor of History

Repeating their two successful summer trips together of 2007 and 2005 Dr. Santoro and Dr. mazzarella are leading a ten-day stay in London including two out-of-London daytrips. London is a 24/7 city. Visit all the important London sites - The British Museum Egyptian and Elgin Marbles collections (with private lectures conducted by British Museum Egyptologists in the monumental storage rooms and Egyptian antiquities research rooms not open to the public); meeting with a member of the British House of Commons in the Parliament buildings; Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace; Tower of London; Imperial War Museum; National Portrait Gallery; Tate Galleries; Victoria & Albert Museum; National Gallery; London theatre & nightlife - shopping at famous department stores and antique markets - Roundtrip airfare, bus and subway passes, museum and attraction entrance fees, and daily breakfast included at St. Giles Hotel in the heart of London - Farewell banquet at the Sherlock Holmes Pub - English High Tea in Yorktown before departure - This group will be traveling with Dr. Belle Pendleton’s FNAR class: 18th & 19th Century British Art in Context.
